Stay Safe Stay Out of Quarries
It’s looking like the cold weather is returning over the Easter weekend, but as we head into spring it’s worth reminding everyone, especially those of you with teenage children, that quarries are not places to explore or go swimming. The pools can look inviting, but the water is usually very cold and deep. There are often hidden hazards under the surface too. The edges of the quarry cliffs are much more unstable than natural cliffs. So please Stay Safe Stay Out of Quarries
