Lost walker and dog on Ruabon Mountain

Just as it went dark this evening we responded to a request from North Wales Police to assist a walker and their dog who had taken a wrong turning up on Ruabon Mountain. They were off path and unable to reach safety without assistance. We identified their location using some phone technology. It was then relatively straightforward for a small party to reach them and walk back to our waiting vehicle.
