CALLOUT 18/22: Flood response – Storm Eunice

Following preparations on Thursday, a group of water rescue qualified team members, supported by vehicle drivers and an incident commander, deployed on Friday to a forward control point at St Asaph alongside water rescue teams from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

We were prepared to react quickly to potential flooding incidents which may have occurred due to high tides and the predicted storm surge.  Fortunately no serious issues were reported and we stood down a few hours after high tide.

A big THANK YOU to NWFRS for providing a comfortable place to wait and for the excellent packed lunch!
