Fallen climber rescue near Llanddulas
On the evening of Wednesday 25th June NEWSAR responded to a request to assist the Welsh Ambulance Service with the extraction of a climber injured in a fall. The site was difficult to work in, being at the bottom of a cliff and with steep ground below.
At the same time an RAF Rescue helicopter was also called as is standard procedure in these circumstances. 15 NEWSAR team members attended the site and helped to get the casualty efficiently extracted and winched into the helicopter.
We wish the injured climber a speedy recovery.
