CALLOUT: Walker with suspected fractured leg, near Corwen
On Sunday three walkers were out near Corwen when one slipped and suffered a suspected fracture to their lower leg. Thanks to the assistance of a local farmer, our two Land Rovers were able to get close to the incident site by use of farm tracks.
The casualty was given first aid before we used a rope system to protect the move of the stretcher down to our Landrover. They were then carefully driven back down to the road for handover to Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust crew.
Get well soon.
