CALLOUT: Two lost persons on Moel Famau
Shortly before 10pm on Tuesday night we were called by North Wales Police to assist two persons who were “geographically challenged” on Moel Famau after the onset of darkness and getting disorientated in the cloud and rain.
We used some phone technology to locate their position and then were able to provide directions to where we could collect them with a team vehicle. They were found unhurt and returned to their vehicle.
We know lots of you will think “you can’t get lost on Moel Famau”, but we know otherwise! When the cloud and mist rolls in and it starts to go dark everything starts to look the same and it is easy to get mislaid. So please be gentle with any comments.
