Callout: Trevor Rocks, Llangollen
The team was called out at lunchtime on Wednesday 22nd June to assist the Welsh Ambulance Service with a casualty at Trevor Rocks, near Llangollen. A lady had sustained a lower leg injury in a simple slip on the rocks while preparing to go climbing.
As our volunteer team members gathered at the casualty site a Welsh Ambulance Service crew arrived and together we took the necessary equipment up to treat the patient.
The casualty was provided with pain relief and splinted by the WAST crew, before being carried off on our stretcher to the waiting ambulance. Thanks to members of the casualties party and the WAST crew for assisting us to carry the stretcher.
We hope the casualty makes a swift and full recovery.
Thanks also for the permission to use these photos.
