CALLOUT: Torch in 'SOS' mode

CALLOUT

We were contacted late last night by #Northwalespolice following a report that a torch was in 'SOS' mode on the side of Moel Gydia.

The torch had been located by a member of the public. After a search of the close vicinity but finding nothing, they left the torch in situ and called the Police.

The decision was made that further investigations were required so team members and two vehicles were deployed to conduct a further search and of a wider area.

An early hours of the morning finish for the team but after thorough searching, no findings and no reports of any missing persons in that area it appears that it was nothing more than a dropped head torch with a faulty / low charged battery.
