CALLOUT - Steep embankment at Wepre Park. 22.09.24

On Sunday afternoon, we responded to a request from @northwalespolice to help a group of five people and a dog stranded in Wepre Park, which included a young child. Sar loc phonefind was used to locate them successfully.

NEWSAR worked alongside @northwalesfire . Prior to our arrival, three members of the group and the dog managed to self-extract. Our team safely extracted the remaining adult and child from a steep, muddy embankment while NWFRS provided water safety cover.

The group was safely reunited and transported home with their family members.

It was definitely a muddy one, with a significant amount of equipment requiring cleaning, drying, and re-packing.
