CALLOUT: Mountain biker in Clocaenog Forest
CALLOUT: Earlier this evening North Wales Police called us to assist Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust to evacuate an injured mountain biker in Clocaenog forest. Two team vehicles and around twenty team members attended the scene.
It was an awkward, very muddy and slippery location, in the trees and on steep ground. So after carefully putting the casualty on our stretcher we used a rope system to protect the lower down to our waiting Landrover. After that it was a short drive to hand over to the WAST Ambulance so they could get to hospital.
Get well soon.
