Callout - Moel Sych summit

On September 30th just after 4.30pm we received a call from North Wales Police to aid a party of six on Moel Sych summit. One member had a knee injury and had possibly fainted. We promptly deployed a mixed team of NEWSAR and South Snowdonia Search & Rescue Team members in adverse weather conditions. After assessing the casualty, we swiftly transported them to safety on our Bell stretcher over 3km of very challenging and very wet terrain. Further South Snowdonia members joined us just before midnight like knights in shining head torches to assist the team that had been out for hours. Arriving back at the café at 12.30am

We appreciate the preparedness of the group and extend our gratitude to Phil, the owner of Tan-y-Pistyll Café, and South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team for their support and assistance.
