CALLOUT: Injured walker near Abergele
We were called this afternoon by North Wales Police to assist a lady who had taken a fall in woodland near Abergele. Team members assisted WAST Paramedics to evacuate the casualty, using a rope system to protect the carry of our stretcher down a steep and very slippery slope. She had been assisted by other walkers who were invaluable in providing information to us and staying with her right through to her handover to the ambulance crew – well done to them. Get well soon!
