CALLOUT: Injured person near Brynteg
At 11am today we were called by Welsh Ambulance Service to assist with a patient with a lower leg injury near Brynteg, Wrexham. One of our own team members was there in his “day job” as a paramedic, which meant we had grid references for the casualty location and the meeting point, plus an evacuation route, all worked out before the rest of us got there!
Team members packaged the casualty on our wheeled stretcher which then made the walk out to the road straightforward.
It’s not exactly “mountains” but you never know where our skills and equipment might prove useful for easier evacuations. #muchmorethanmountains
Get well soon.
