CALLOUT: Injured mountain biker Llandegla
This afternoon we were asked to assist the Welsh Ambulance Services with an injured mountain biker on the trails in Llandegla Forest. The WAST paramedics dealt with the casualty care and we used our vacuum mattress to immobilise the casualty, before carrying him down on our stretcher to the waiting WAST ambulance. Get well soon! 14 team members and two Land Rovers attended. Thanks to the casualty’s party for their help and special thanks to the The Grousemoor for allowing us to use their car park as a meeting point for team members.
