CALLOUT 82/22: Injured off road motorcyclist near Moel Arthur

The third call on Sunday occurred while we were fully committed to the Pystyll Rhaeadr incident. An off road motorcyclist had suffered a serious leg injury at an organised event near Moel Arthur. Due to the lack of available resources we requested mutual aid from Ogwen Mountain Rescue who made arrangements to attend. In the meantime the Wales Air Ambulance had also been tasked due to the severity of the injury.Fortunately the helicopter was able to land nearby and the patient was evacuated without further Mountain Rescue involvement.
