A busy 24 hours. Callout 2 of 3. 29.05.24
🚨 Callout 2 of 3 🚨
The second call out came at 17:55hrs on Wednesday to a gentleman who had fallen in the woods in the Abergele area, injuring his hip .
Extra team members were starting to arrive at the Control point for callout 1, so they were deployed to the location in their own vehicles with the medical kit from Mobile 3 (this was being used as incident control) and both landrovers were otherwise engaged at callout 1. When a landrover became free, it followed them to the location. The team administered pain relief, packaged him up in a vacuum mattress and stretchered him to the road. The gentleman was then taken to hospital by land ambulance.
We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
Our thanks go to the groundsmen at Gwrych Castle for enabling access for our vehicle.
