The second job on Thursday was when NEWSAR assistance was requested by the Welsh Ambulance Service to help with the evacuation of a walker with a lower leg injury from a ‘difficult to access’ area near Llandrillo – the casualty was conveyed to the road-head using a team stretcher to meet the WAS road ambulance.
