Our Mission
“To provide the Police, Ambulance Service and local communities with a highly competent search and rescue capability that can be deployed swiftly, safely and effectively 24 hours a day, 365 days per year”.
We need your support
All team members are volunteers and we do not receive any payment for providing this service to the Police.
It costs approximately £30,000 a year to run the Team – this covers fuel and repairs for our vehicles, protective equipment for team members, training courses, team equipment such as ropes, stretchers etc.
The majority of this money is raised through street collections, grant applications, collecting tins, personal donations (often after a rescue) and sponsored events.
